I have thought about it! It makes me quite the Gemini which I could see, but honestly I do believe myself to be such a Cancer. All the planets are in the same houses, and my ascendant is the same too. But Venus in Taurus and Mars in Virgo? Maybe, I don't know. Then again, I recall hearing someone ask if whether the zodiac signs also changed, like what it means to be a Gemini is what it used to mean to be a Cancer. Who knows. But I can't help but wonder why this isn't more widespread since it reflects the progression, or whatever it's called. It's really, really interesting and I wish I had time to delve into it.

I remember being relieved, while studying, Vedic, when I saw I would be cool with my new signs. I was studying Western at the same time, trying to decide, so this was part of it. It allowed me to go back and forth and decide.

I took a peek at my sidereal chart. The signs are different but the house positions and aspects remain the same.

My Sun & Moon in sidereal= ♑️♍️ (double earth as opposed to tropical, double air ♒️♎️).

Interestingly, my ascendant in sidereal was ♒️, so I can’t discount its validity. I’d really need to investigate it further before making a judgement.
I have heard people say that they found both types of charts work for them.
