my father and ex husband used to have horrible dreams, something was always chasing them, dark entitites. They never could learn how to vanquish it (at least with my ex, he couldnt) I have learned early on to manipulate dreams and create things in my dreams in the past. ( i just told myself, hey i dont like nightmares so let's change this scenery and kick some ass! lol ) Hopefully that helps, but being in that state means being between realm of reality/waking but asleep. Especially dealing with otherwordly entities.

I found his watch on the floor. I was surprised. It's super expensive - a gift from his son? I picked it up and put it on top his dresser. I was going to text, "I found your watch". I figured it was knocked off the dresser somehow. I found it on the floor, close by. I forgot to text but I noticed it flash on, "charged" or something like that.
So he came home and saw the watch. He asked me why I took it off the charger.
"What charger?" I didn't even know the watch needed a charger.
He said he could not find his charger for two days... then he looked where it goes and there it was. He left the watch to charge while he was at work. He indicated the charger cord, hanging from the wall, eight feet from where I found the watch...
I don't know what is else happening but I've seen this before.
Once in Colorado, we had a window swamp cooler. There was nothing wrong with it but it was a hot summer. Every time we switched it to HIGH, it would blow on high... until we the room. Then it would downshift itself (switch was not moved). We go back and back and back have this occur. Further, it went on almost the entire summer. Literally, we were dying from the heat and it just would not cool on high for more than a few minutes. Eventually it resolved and it never happened again... we lived their several years after this.
Then one time, I was home alone and came in the kitchen to find some candies... might have be m&m's I can't recall, but they were taken from the cupboard and arranged in a pattern on the counter, very neat. I was stupefied. I don't have problems like these. They are his people!
Anyway, he's been doing his thing that he does, every day, multiple times a day if he can, since he was 10 years old. You'd be amazed at what he comes up with.
He says he has to do it... similar to "elimination" - except he uses the other word. He used to do this when we were together as teenagers. He also told me some wild stuff back then which I never forgot. You wouldn't have forgotten it either!
When we got back together, I wondered about this. Did he still do it? Was he faking? Well, yes. He still does it.... all the time. He's funny. It puts him in a bit of a trance.
He conceals this from almost everyone because of the persecution and also the requests people make which he is not interesting in responding to. It's quite unusual. He thinks he may be the only one in the world who can do it... this is possible, he says. But he thinks Patton and Joan of Arc could do it as well. Patton used his riding crop and Joan of Arc used her flag (an an antenna).
There is a lot of cool stories, like a guy he was in SF, he went to his mother's house with this guy. She took one look at him and told him he was St. George. My husband was not familiar with that saint at the time... though he's Catholic. He went to look him up and saw he died on the same day my husband was born so that was weird.
He has no idea why the woman said something or if there is anything to it but he did say her son and her were old... knew what was going on. He says he always knows when he is fighting with (or against) someone he's encountered before. He says it's harder because they're very tricky.
There is so very much more to say. 
@elsa I guess if something ever wanted to mess with me it would need to be more obvious. With all these kids and fur babies, there'd be no way for me to know just from something being moved from its usual spot. 😅 The music thing is definitely weird, though.
Many years ago I sold books door to door during a summer break from college. I had a weird feeling about a house and didn't want to knock on their door. I felt like a kind of unsettling energy emanating from it. The house number was bothersome as well - 666. Yeah...I have never seen that address anywhere else, so I guess most most municipalities avoid it? Anyway, I got up the courage and knocked...it was pointless, they were rude and I was actually relieved to high-tail it out of there. That's probably the closest I have come to anything like what you are talking about. If I get a gut feeling of dread, I generally just avoid it. It's different when it's in your house, though!

I remember hearing something not too long ago about jinns (is that the correct plural form?). I’d never heard of them before but it was common to this person and their culture. I wish I could remember exactly. I have an idea but I’s have to look. I just remember them saying that some were just impish and didn’t mean harm but ,gosh, I will have to try to find it.

They can shape-shift and such and present themselves in different forms. Their substance is made of etheric matter.
When I was a kid I used to see them at night while in bed.
I wasn’t the only one either. Many of my family member reported seeing things. One family member said they saw something “run by” super fast. He said he didn’t know what the hell it was it was so fast. He just knew he had to get out of there. Then one of my dads friends wakes in the house and said “there’s something supernatural in here” and had to leave. My grandmother would hear things moving around and messing around in the bookshelves that were up against the wall of my bedroom. My sister said she felt something touch her one night. And my brother also saw something come in his room and stare at him and walk out. I saw gnomes in my bedroom and saw a specific stuffed animal moving around. Saw some other kind of elemental, looked like some kind of dwarf but larger than a gnome. And other things. Once I was lying on the floor and the floor moved under me with force, like bowed out.
Crazy stuff I tell you.
i don’t know what happened in that house but I suspect some occult activity opened up some kind of portal or something.

Anyways, my grandmother also told me that when they were recarpeting the house (it was my grandmothers house before my parents owned it) there was a large burned spot on the concrete as if someone had created a fire in the house. She thought it was weird. Especially weird that my bedroom seemed to be the center of the “activity”.
sounds like a portal. ^^ some homes have that for some odd reason. My mother used to say its usually closer to the water. As water is a transit for it or something. Like a lake or creek or some pond close by.
but anyway i was just thinking the other day, if one can see " angels" in human form, in real life, then they can certainly see " demons" which are in ancient texts a form of angel fallen. One cannot just see good without seeing the evil/bad malevolent beings.

@elisa I don’t remember it being next to any body of water. 🤔 It was on a hill. A quite steep hill. The front yard had a huge tree, and the roots were huge and coming up out of the ground.

Yes, according to hermeticism, the Angels apparently are beings that have risen to a *higher consciousness* such as we will eventually, as we ascend in consciousness, they have free will, as we do, and the fallen ones, because they can choose to do “evil”, can fall to the same degree that they had risen. Hence demons. These are in another dimension or “plane” according to Hermetics.
oh yes, a huge tree with roots showing, and the treee is very very unusual looking too. We used to own a house on my mother's side of the family; my grandparents house in the tropical islands where there is a house that is definitely inhabited by entities. (edit-- i forgot to say there's a HUGE tree too in the area, and my mother said there are three entities that go in there, and others have seen them) These are not ghosts, or people who were once dead. My mother has always encountered them but can't see them. ( i can see the good beings, so naturally i can see the other but its been a long time. thank god. not interested ) She sees ghosts all the time, and i can hear them, or sense and smell them too, (they like to leave a strange scent depending on who) but i usually dont feel any evil. But the house we used to own had alot of evil, and played tricks on my mother all the time. She sensed they really hated her because they bothered her only and not anyone else, not her brothers or sisters or visitors staying there much. They used to lock her inside the room and the doors would not open and it was really strange. My uncles used to try to pry the door open. And my mother said its because she knows they are there and she prays alot and hates that she prays constantly LOL with her rosary and blessed be and saying it out loud all the time or in the middle of the night praying and praying.
i have never been there to be honest, so its a good thing. I dont really like to be around that kind of area. Strangely i seem to stay away from that. The only one time they approached me was when i was 3-4 years old; and i thought they were beautiful creatures. They can change their form at will to what they want you to see. It's " exposing" them that they really truly hate for some reason. they want to be secret to the world. But honestly so many websites and people have mentioned them all over the place, so its not really a big secret. But they would like to be secret anyway. To remain hidden in the underworld and darkness.
edit -- ohhh you used to see them too when you were little but your memories are blocked somewhat. People usually think you are crazy if they are non believers; so its good its keep it shush. ^^ or childhood imaginations.
@elisa omg, right… adults would shrug it off. Well, most adults, except for the ones who also experienced it. My mom did not believe me. She told me I was dreaming. I would beg to sleep with her, crying, and her with her Capricorn Moon, would scold me.
I used to sleep with my head under the covers every night. This went on for years of my childhood. From about age 6 through 10. Have you ever tried this? It’s hot, and you can’t breathe very well. But I wasn’t about to see some sh*t again.
Yesss the tree was ominous looking. The whole yard was covered with it’s huge roots. Never saw anything outside however. I also do not think they were ghosts. I’m not sure if they were evil, or if the fear they roused caused them to seem evil, but there was just an all around creepy energy in that house.
Later, when I was an adult though, my mom said she did think I saw some things but didn’t tell me because she didn’t want me to be scared. Hello, I was already scared!? I needed her to believe me is what I needed. She then told me things my granny told her and about my dads friend
I confirmed what she told me with my dad. I also confirmed with my granny. This was a long time ago, when I was in my early 20s.
This phenomenon can also be explained as sleep paralysis. It’s actually possible I was experiencing sleep paralysis. But then that doesn’t explain other people seeing things? And other people saying they felt something strange in that house?
I experienced what could be described as sleep paralysis again in my teens. That’s another story, a real creepy story….
I know how to do this to this day, but I can stop it from happening by distracting my mind. And if I can’t, which is rare, I will get up and turn on all the lights and distract myself by doing something. Yes, I could do it tonight, any time I wish. No thanks. I could have a heart attack. Anything could come through. Not going there.
so if sleep paralysis can be controlled, is it really sleep paralysis? I don’t know.. I would think something like that would be involuntary.

To be clear, I don't think he has encountered a jinn, before. Not that he knows of.
From what I understand time is quite odd. He's able to travel both forward and back... but can't always tell if he's looking at something that will happen or did happen.
People he encounters is a constant.
