Twice in my life a teacher stepped in and made a difference. I think we can all remember at least one that either protected us, gave us confidence or changed our lives. Mine was my music teacher in Junior high. Go figure, as it turns out, she is a Pisces.
She is in her 80's. And she is a Facebook friend. Even at her age she follows a lot of things, seems to be able to navi social media. Will post little memes. Some about politics.
And there is the Junior high asshole, who is still an asshole, that I was afraid of as a 12–13-year-old kid, bullying my teacher on the internet.
I fired a warning shot. May the best man win.
Struck me as funny. Client says she's hard of hearing.
"NO PROBLEM", I say, in my booming, regular voice.
Like, if you need to hear me in Texas, I can do that do.
My neighbor is home, bedridden, lying in a bed in her living room so she can look out the window. I guess she could pass at any time.
It's up against my husband's mother who had a very bad week.
Oh my.
They've also hung her deceased husband's picture, a large one, in her direct line of sight. It's actually his death notice... has his date of birth and death on it.
She'll be with him soon. They met when they were nine years old.
Turkeys in our back yard.
Got to enjoy some sunshine today. It was still cool but those sun rays felt nice.
We are days away from Spring, my fave time of the year. Pretty flowers are already blooming, fun markets will re-open and the weather should warm up.
