My neighbor passed this morning.
I'm so sorry. I hope she was kept comfortable and didn't suffer. I'm glad you got to visit and glad she was at home. 🙏❤️
@elsa Oh no! Elsa I am so sorry to see this. I know you knew this was coming but it is never easy to lose anyone and especially a new friend and neighbor. That poor family. Seems like when it rains... I am really sorry to see this. I suppose this is the sweet neighbor that they put near the window so she could look out....
My 91 year old neighbor is home from rehab after breaking her hip. The partial hip replacement is healed well enough for her to go home. She was up on a walker before expected. She never sat still. Her daughter, who lives two time zones away, says the dementia is worse. A relative runs a home health care company. My neighbor will constantly have someone with her.
It's so hot today... like WAY too hot. Was five cars at my neighbor's, now there are none. I feel for the son, who is going to be sitting in that house, alone, eventually.
There's just not anything to do at the moment.
@warped Yes, i know it does and this goes both ways. He tends to go to family, unless it's something he does not want shared, He's such a good dude. Nearly as inspiring as his dad, who no doubt got the way he was, with age. I have heard he and his brother were hellraisers for time, when they were young.

@allie120 thank you. I appreciate hearing this. I'd say more but it's just do draining. I'm here... on this blog, such an easy target for pussies.
If I ever let loose on one of these people, they would not recover. But I'm on the wagon for 24 years with that so I just have to eat it.
