Weekly Forecast: January 15-19, 2024 – Real World Intensity, Clearing The Path

Lara Harris for elsaelsa.comAll day Monday, the Capricorn Sun consumates its sextile to Neptune in Pisces. It then spends the rest of the week stalking a conjunction to Pluto at the very end of the sign. Serious business… with a winsome helping of creative sparkle. Look for the opportunity to dazzle, and begin clearing what’s settled on the path you’ve been paving. Work all week to embody the power you covet.

Monday’s Pisces Moon starts out in square to Sagittarius Venus. Venus spends the week in square to Neptune. The Moon goes on to sextile the Sun and conjoin Neptune before completing its sextile to Pluto by night. The Neptune-ruled mood adds extra glamor and illuminates our path. The depth of emotional capacity is not initially comfortable. It warms up as we settle in to a groove, offsetting any unrealistic desires. It’s lovely to want a lot but only if we remember to reel in outsized expectations that threaten real life accomplishments.

Overnight, the Moon moves to Mars-ruled Aries and a square to Capricorn Mercury. Mercury picks up a sextile to Pisces Saturn (exact Thursday) and a trine to Taurus Jupiter (exact Friday) on its way to conjoin Mars. Real life plans are everything. Sights, sounds, and senses are spot on and making way for special announcements… in time. All very timely, boundaried, but bigger than life. All tangible, reality based – even when lofty. We’re working our way toward action… methodically. Remember not to stick your foot in your mouth. Sometimes we get so set on a track that we forget to smell the roses and take in the scenery. Allow time to be inspired.

Tuesday morning, the Aries Moon crosses the Jupiter-Saturn midpoint on its way to square Mars. It’s off to the races, but only if we’re ready. Extra time spent checking ready-tasks pays off in a smooth(er) start. Don’t jump the gun! The Aries Moon heads into conjunction with Chiron by the end of the night, something that normally might result in frustration and hurt feelings.

However, in this case, it illuminates the weeklong square of Mars to Chiron. As this is a special week in the application of will and life-path, the Aries Moon need to act brings heightened purity to the challenge to rise above our humble beginnings, our mundane station. It pushes us, prepares us to push… for integrity in action. There’s a drive to better ourselves that transcends pride, not because it’s a humble urge… it’s not. But because we need the eventual win, we’ll train up. We’ll chance humbling ourselves to win the right way, the decisive way. We learn how to push through in ways that help not hurt. But the cost is comfort. Fight the battle today to win the war tomorrow.

Wednesday morning, the Aries Moon conjoins the north node and goes on to trine Venus. The day ends with a Moon square to the Sun and Pluto. This mood to move feels right in line with our best self. Pleasurable and fiery, nothing feels out of reach! Evening brings us back to reality but doesn’t dull the enthusiasm. If anything, it shows where the edges are, and now we know.

Thursday, the Moon moves to Venus-ruled Taurus, highlighting the exact Mercury-Saturn sextile with a sextile to Saturn and trine to Mercury. As the Moon heads into conjunction with Jupiter, the morning’s mood heralds big feelings and grand words. Saturn’s influence in Pisces adds ballast to any excess, but it also provides the ability to connect across all levels of emotional kinship. Evening takes the Moon into trine with Mars: concrete action feels lovely.

Early Friday, Mercury perfects its trine to Jupiter and communications pop! The Taurus Moon conjoins retro Uranus and we’re tuned in to tantalizing novelty; we appreciate it (exciting!). Good surprises enliven.

Afternoon takes the Taurus Moon into sextile with Neptune and quincunx to Venus. Our wildest dreams can be satisfied when we adjust between shooting for the Moon and shooting for a target we can touch. At least for the moment. Grab the prize you sense is REAL. Overnight, the Moon heads into trine with the Sun-Pluto conjunction (exact Saturday), definitely an “all’s well the ends well” feeling of ultimate, real world intensity.

  1. It’s amazing that the Moon in Taurus will exactly trine the Sun/Pluto conjunction at 29°59′ Capricorn!

Will have to see how the week plays out, but the Sun is edging closer and closer to Pluto Capricorn this week. Intensity indeed!

I wonder if it will highlight what Pluto Capricorn has been about for everyone? What has been implemented and established since 2008, the same things that are about to go through a big upheaval and major changes.

    1. Thanks for catching that. Yes, it’s cute. Almost like the Moon is a kid sister wanting to tag along with the Big Boys when she senses something interesting is afoot.
