Lamari asks, “Can outer planet transits be good? ”
Yes, outer planet transits can be good, but they take us into supernatural realms and it bothers us. It’s human nature to want to control. We’re also constantly told to live our dreams. Few dream of “mapping hell” for five years, but a Pluto transit will put you in this situation.
A Neptune transit will show you how vulnerable you are to being tricked… and how you may trick others, all day, every day, unbeknownst to you! You’re robbed of your illusions… oh my God, give me back my delusion!
Uranus changes your life in a split second and you’ve nothing to say about it. Whoa, whoa, whoa, lightning strike, I need a do-over! I need to fix my hair, first! Not happening!
I could go on and on with examples, but you see the commonality. Outer planet transits take people places they would not opt to go to on their own. Is it good to go places you don’t want to go? I think so.
For example, during a particularly hard time in my life, I kept thinking I was at the bottom of the well. Three days later, the floor dropped ten more feet, fifty more feet, one hundred more feet. Excuuusse me? This repeated and repeated and repeated and repeated, so then what happened?
I got with the program. I learned life is deeper than I’d thought. I learned I was deeper than I thought. I learned of my own internal core of power; my stamina, my endurance, my intelligence!
Or what about Neptune transits. You may go a little crazy and need to swim back. What’s the result of this? Compassion for others? Greater appreciation for the whole of life? I’ll take it!
Uranus transits wake a person up. Is it better you sleep through life? Why should you get away with that? Would it serve you to get away with that?
Howard Sasportas called the outer planets, The Gods of Change. I agree with him! You may think you don’t need to change / don’t want to change, but is this is your best interest? I’d say no.
I believe, God /The Universe conspires in your best interest. Sometimes you get clocked and that’s just the way it is. I don’t care who you are. Surprises, disillusionment and dark nights of the soul, are all part of life.
Post these experiences, the vast majority report benefitting from them. The trick then, is to realize this, early on! Embrace outer planet transits, if you can. It’s the best approach by far.
Very interesting and confirmed by my experiences in the last 25 years…and brings back memories of reading Kingsley Amis’s New Maps of Hell…
Yeah they can be good. When they transit someones chart that you don’t like!
