The sheen disappeared from his lip but not before I’d had a chance to study it. “I really don’t know how you tricked people in your life when your face acts like this,” I said. “I can’t figure that out.”
“My face acts like nothing,” he said. ‘My face doesn’t do anything, nor does my lip.”
“Whatever,” I said. “Swirl, swirl, swirl.” Then it hit me. “Oh my God, your lip. Do you know I saw that the first time we met? In the apartment, I sat down next to you and your lip did that then too.”
“My lip did nothing,” he said.
“Well it did not do nothing, it did what it is doing right now. It’s got a sheen on it like it’s sweating or something. It must be blood rushing to the surface I guess. It may be slight but it’s there and it’s unmistakable and it betrays your emotion,” I said with his eyes locked on mine.
“It betrays nothing,” he said. I shrugged.
“We’ll not talk about this anymore,” I said. “The sheen on your lip that is not there, I mean. Let’s not talk about it until the next time it comes up.”
“Well that sounds good to me,” he said, grinning with an eyebrow raised.
I grinned and raised an eyebrow back at him while making a note to think about this later on because I figured there has got to be a reason my 8th house can see his Scorpio Moon.

Deglet – good catch. That’s exactly right as occurred to me the next day…
