Unexpected Expansion! Jupiter Trine Uranus!

house11We took possession of our house today – this was unexpected. The seller called and said they were out. It was all ours!

Within minutes I was loading the new pickup to drive out there. I called my friend, Yoko, to meet she. She showed up with two of her daughters.

I’d been waiting to meet them. They’ve been in school. They were both super cute and nice…and judging from their reaction to the house, I think we’re going to be seeing a lot of them. For one thing they want to come out there and take a bath. And stay! And pick peaches and learn to garden.  They were so happy…and consequently, I was very happy too.

I so want a home where people like to visit.  Based on how it went out there today, I’m feeling confident.

“The girls are coming out, they want to take a bath in our tub,” I told my husband.

“This ain’t no come to my house and use my bathtub,” he said.

“Yes it is. That’s exactly what it is. These are your new granddaughters,” I explained.  He laughed, but I was serious and he could tell, and feel it too.

“Yoko wants to use the tub too…they’re Asian, man. They like to bathe. There is no way they’re going to see a tub like that and not get in it…”

It’s going to take us a week to move. Then there will be pictures!

I won’t be able to bring the dogs out until Saturday.  They’re going to flip!

  1. That is great great news! I’m sure you and your family are so relieved to be beginning the final move-in process…good luck! Don’t wear yourself out too much…something is telling me to tell you to be careful and watch your step and not to trip when carrying things into the house.

    Congrats 🙂

    1. Yeah, Yoko asked me about my “pimples”..

Those are Lupus sores coming up.

The dogs has a vicious fight at 2 am this morning. Also unexpected! I couldn’t get back to sleep. I am going to crash early tonight…I just have to lie really low. But on the other hand, we’ve about got this done…and I will have a lot of help, as of next week. 🙂

  2. Yay!!! Congratulations… finally!!! Wishing you strength for the move & a pack of very happy dogs at the end of it!!!

SO happy for you all <3 =)

  3. Really happy for you, how great is that. So sorry you have been less than well, moving even to a happy new home is a big stressful thingHope the dogs love their new space!

  4. Yeah, I see my face is covered…gah.

However, a guy is cutting the grass for the rental house right now. Last time for that.

I’m thinking we can be out of here, completely clean and utilities switched over by the 15the.

I have had four addresses in the last 2 months!

Ysy, Elsa! Wishing you all a lifetime of good health and happiness in your forever home!

    1. Thanks! That reminds me. They said a prayer for us before they left. Very sweet. We’re going to see them again. For one thing, we’re storing their stuff in the barn until they get their new house built. 🙂

  6. Yea! I am so glad you are out of the in between. You will at last be truly grounded with a deep taproot. It makes me think of a Yucca. If you try to dig one of those things up, you just can ‘t. That root is so deep and the plant so hardy that it is there for eternity, permanent. You deserve every ounce of beauty, comfort, security and rootedness that your new home can offer. I am also very pleased for your four legged friends. They will be so happy ther I think. CONGRATS!

  7. Really big congratulations! Last weekend I moved into the 4th place in 4 years, and hope to stay a good long while. I’m the opposite of you; however – I’ve had the “big house” and I wanted a teeny tiny place, and I got it. I hate cleaning!!

  8. Congrats! It’ll be good to have a final address. 4 in about 4 months is tempting even a retrograde Mercury to get the mail delivered. I hope you get it all.

      1. Yeah, I meant 4 addresses in 2 months.

Address in Aurora, temp, forward to my brother in law’s house, then to this rental house, then to our real house. 🙂

  9. WOOOOOOO!!! Such great news!! I am sure you will feel a million times better settled and putting down roots. I am SO happy for you guys! YAY
