When Will The Fog Lift & Anxiety Subside?

fogSaturn and Neptune in Pisces has us all living in foggy conditions to some degree.  August was epic on the front.

Some of the fog has moved out this month, but it’s still and still bothersome to some. I’m asked when it will clear. I finally see the break in the sky!

Mercury will oppose Neptune, next week. Once that aspect clears, there will no be another hard aspect to Neptune from any planet, until November.  More importantly, the planet (Venus), will not linger at all.  The influence will be brief. We’re back in the land of usual and customary.

Better yet, there is only once more hard aspect this year. That’ll be Sun square Neptune in December.  Again, this aspect will pass quickly. If you’ve been suffering in “unknowing”, you’re just about clear.

As for anxiety, Saturn in Pisces is implicated. It’s also hanging back for the rest of the year.

Clarity incoming!

  1. Great post! We can do with some much needed clarity, to undo the mess the world is currently in. Things seem so convoluted these days so it would be nice to catch a breather.

  2. I was thinking that the Saturn/Pisces anxiety gets emphasised by the square to Jupiter in Gemini…that aspect seems to create an edge to it. Like before it was more free floating anxiety, but with Jupiter in Gemini you can attach it to information, and also we’re dealing with contradictory information, because Gemini has two faces always. Jupiter is connected to truth and seems to struggle in the deluge of minutia and contradiction which reflects Gemini. It doesn’t take much for the Saturn/Pisces energy to meet with that entanglement and emphasise states of confusion. I actually looked ahead to see when Jupiter enters Cancer (June 2025) as it’s a bit of a mind melt..but maybe the mind melt is what’s needed, because the mental fields have long dominated and need softening.

  3. Oh, this is music to my ears! The brain fog is very real and I’m having to write list upon list to remember what needs doing. It’s such a pain in the ass because Virgo season is usually very productive for me.

  4. I actually like mutable energy; what I do not like is *Neptunian fog*. The summer was a beast, no question. No answers anywhere, floating in quicksand. I guess at least I remember how to float. I do not see the ugliness abating, though, and we should probably all be prepared to see it for what it is. Would any of us tolerate an individual person in our lives that treats us so badly? Probably not. The advice in this post is very good advice, indeed.

  5. What I “see” when Neptune is active, is that “external views are clouded. “Internal” views are always prone to being foggy because we can’t see ourselves. We depend on the outer world to reflect us back to ourselves. But when the outer world is also foggy, it actually drives us back to ourselves. This sounds like more contradiction, but I find that those circumstances were there so that we would slow down and look more carefully inwardly, especially at the things we don’t like to see. Like when driving, we are forced to slow down and putting on high beams only reflects more back at us. So putting on low beams and slowing down and finding what we can trust (a road that actually is there, a fellow traveler’s tail lights) we get where we’re going with gratitude!
In other words, it’s easy to travel when the sun is shining and the conditions are good. The challenging times show us our weak spots and make us more vigilant. If we use those times to sharpen our senses, we will be better for it.
Even better, if we use the fog to examine the things that we would rather not see in ourselves, then we will be less prone to only seeing what we want to when we look outside of ourselves. That is true blindness.
