Haha, I was just looking through the ephemera thinking, what the heck-nothing happened during this transit and then I remembered I lost my virginity under this transit. Lol. I guess my identity did change a little.

@la_sirena Jeez...me too. Never pinned it on Uranus, though.

When Uranus transited my DSC it squared my 4th house stellium and I got divorced. I couldn't run away fast enough.

@soup Thanks for posting.

At one point Uranus will square my 4th house planets, in a few years, so I'll be aware of that extra energy.

The separating quality is real with Uranus...I've felt it...

Natally Uranus is conjunct my Ascendant/opposite my Descendant so I do have that 'divorce' potential in my chart (plus Sun square Mars and Moon.)

I had Uranus conjunct my Descendant when it was in Aries. I lost a lot of friends because I lost my job at the time. All of my other one-on-one relationships changed and looking back now, it was for the better, though it was upsetting at the time. Any relationship that didn't survive that transit wasn't worth having anyway.

I've been married a long time and my husband and I went through a lot of changes during that transit. We both retired during that time after a lifetime of working. It was stressful getting to retirement and trying to understand what our life would look like but we weathered the changes together and came out the other side.

My advice to you, Cris, is to work through the changes in your marriage and other important relationships. You can reach a new plateau if you do and will have resolved a lot of underlying problems in the process that might have been buried for a long time.

@jofrance Thanks for the advice 🙂

I have definitely seen some of my oldest friendships shift this year and often I've felt very very removed (and disillusioned but that's my Neptune to Sun transit too.)

Have had some really honest talks with some friends this year. Interestingly those also with Uranus transiting in their 7th house have been really supportive and open to similar ideas and changes in mentality and attitudes I've experienced. Trully blessed both ways.

I've fostered and nurtured some friendships I had taken for granted and I have realised are soul-feeding and that they benefit from my support and friendship too.

Yet there are two old friends I really ought to be having some more real conversations. I hope we can work through things. They are great people but I'm seeking a deeper level of authenticity in life and these bonds might just not make it.

Making new friends and meeting new peers/professionals who are Uranian/non mainstream/unusual.

My husband and I keep talking so there is a chance we'll weather things. I'm also realistic about the fact that both of us are having Uranus transits.

Will keep in mind the challenge and opportunity of weathering together this phase. At least then I'll know that I really tried my best.

Glad you two weathered together that (sometimes tricky) transition into retired life.

From your posts I always get the impression that you're a pro at retired life and retired thriving.

Uranus conjunct my Descendent for the past year. No unexpected external upheavals - just an internal fluidity making it easier to cope with daily living.

One of Saturn's mysteries is available to Scorpio Ascendents now - the ability to integrate a square within a circle.  With Uranus on one angle - the Dsc - ruling the IC  we come upon the opportunity of working with all four fixed angles. The final card in Tarot  - the World card  - hints at this completion......

Wow, that's an inspiring image (the World card) and thought/imagery (integrating/working through a square in a circle with Uranus and Saturn.)

I think it might be the first time that I'm consciously grateful to Saturn for harshly aspecting my Ascendant/Descendant 🙂

Glad to hear the transit's helped with providing an internal fluidity around navigating daily life. Handy in Covid times.

Thanks for sharing.

@Cris Listen.. you are so kind, gentle, evolved... I have grown super fond of you and it pains me to see you so anxious. Remember Elsa's mantra. Energy is neutral until directed. Your relationship is solid if you are conscious about your energy..which you totally are. Huge huge hugs. Vent it all out at the Forum, so you can be a picture of absolute calm at home...well maybe a little quirky to honour your Uranian impulses. ?

@vesta  Smile

Hehe, thanks for your kind words. I'm all those things Smile I'm also capable of becoming an angry Medusa with some of my wildest astrological aspects and placements (including Uranus rising currently being agitated more) and my personal psychological aspects.

Yes, I'm going to have to be more conscious of the energy and practice an 'absolute calm at home' embodiment as often as I possibly can.

I was quite agitated (almost electrified) when I came to the forum for help regarding the Uranus transits. This energy is very real (like 'F--- everything!' even the good stuff), felt in the body and the mind, and after a day or so I returned to neutral but it took a while to go to baseline. Wow.

Will revisit a couple of 6/7+ years old email consultations from Elsa and Satori where Uranus was mentioned. Also I have the forum and this thread for grounding.

Imagine going through all this without having an inkling of astrology? Amazed

@cris Its totally understandable. I have ongoing Uranus square Sun, which is opposite my natal Mars, and inflames my natal Sun-Mars Square. One day, this summer, I remember feeling similar energies. I wanted to walk out of my marriage, my house, this country, this job...all in a space of literal one hour. I felt EVERYTHING had to change for my mind to stop feeling like I was being choked...gasping for air. So, I get it. Self control is hard to come by. Just do as much cardio as you can. Run, use a stair master, put some fast paced music in your ears. Just sweat it all out. Also, making changes, even small ones help. Go crazy with hair. Take a different route to get to same place. Keep your brain guessing. Dont be complacent.

You mentioned that "Lots of unusual and interesting people coming into my life right now teaching me lots of lessons regarding humanity's diversity."

Could there also be "freedom" or changing beliefs i.e. your 3rd house with Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius? which also affects your Asc/Dsc through Saturn and Uranus..

Yes, I've experienced massive changes mentally and perspective-wise this year. Transiting Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter in my 3rd house in Capricorn. Natal Saturn is in my 9th house.

I 100% feel like Neo when he found out he'd been living in The Matrix in the first The Matrix Trilogy movie.

It's like the lights have been turned on and I can see everything around me and I refuse to unsee things and have no wish to turn the lights off.

Let's see how transiting Saturn and Uranus play out in my chart and life.

@cris "I 100% feel like Neo when he found out he'd been living in The Matrix in the first The Matrix Trilogy movie."

Great analogy!

I feel the same, even to the point of reading the code like Neo did which I can't un-see now that I see it, everywhere.

Exactly! Reading codes that were always there but that I couldn't see before.
