Yes. I would do traditional Medicare.  Even though there is no dental or vision or hearing coverage.  Payment arrangements can be made with individual providers for these noncovered forms of care. I've already done so, with no interest.  Or a supplemental policy purchased. 

We don't know how ill we might become.  I don't want the hassle of an Advantage plan when I'm ill.

@judy thanks, Judy.  Decision is suspended until I can sort my retiree coverage, but I have been concerned about restrictions and also all the co-pays.

Being a spine problem person, it typically takes 3-5 appts to get any actual treatment. These are specialists and it adds up.

More importantly, if you're this world... well all neurosurgeons are no created equally.  They probably herd you in this direction.
