Hello. I wanted to write about aging in the age of Pluto Aquarius but also in general. I know the world demographic itself is getting older everywhere, but I myself am now approaching 40. I know big picture, 40 is quite young. That is why I’m starting to think about it. My mom died young at 56 last January.

I have always felt young on these astro forums too. I’m usually the youngest of my friend groups as well in actual life.

My kids were born in rapid succession. 2011-2016 so 3 kids in 5 years , with one loss in 2010. So I have spent a good part of Pluto in cap pregnant, nursing, or chasing little ones.

I always tried to focus my other more “interesting” aspects of my life. But honestly it is always going to come back to my season of life whichever one I’m in.

I’m exiting that young mom season and it’s scary. My mom is gone. And my babies are no longer babies.

If that is the only revolutionary change pluto aquarius makes   for me that would be enough lol

Tell me about the season you are in and how do you think things will be going?

And any advice for a soon to be not so young mother?

I’m also experiencing a LOT of big put planet transits that would normally be described at stressful. I think I might have a handle on this crap since it’s been on and off for a year . Pluto opp mars and sun for example

. My horoscope keeps telling me that that Pluto square natal moon and pluto is going to cause problems with other women in my family but so far it’s same old. And my female friends have come out of hiding because I mentioned serving alcohol in my house finally (hubby hates alcohol his step mom was a drunk)

You have a 13 year old - puberty is generally a pain and will keep you hopping for the next ten years.

After that, it's empty nest!

I would use the Aquarius energy to develop detachment, as kids do tend to take off.  That and protect your relationship with your husband, as empty nest hits hard.

I know this seems a long way off but you're going to blink and be there..

As for myself, I've just recovered from an accident that about put me in a wheelchair.  My life at this point, is to not get hurt... so I can continue to work, which I enjoy, a lot.

Great question! I know that from my POV, it seems like you will see your children take more and more steps towards independence, trying new things, developing their own selves, and that seems like all the previous milestones but even bigger. My children are step children and I met them when they were 16 and 20, so well on their way but also lots of experiences to go.

For me, personally, I have Pluto on my sun (as well as second Saturn return not long ago). My phase of life if approaching a time when my husband will retire in 2 1/2 years. There are things in the works now that will shape the time after that, some planned, some not, but it’s good so far.

My only advice is enjoy them as much as possible while you have them. Im nearing retirement and just read an interesting article about life span and health treatments that are just around the corner. It seems the insurance actuaries (very conservative folks typically) are forecasting that if you are alive in te 2030s there is a very good chance you will live to 100 or over. And they are talking about a healty 100 year life span not vegging out waiting to die. Hmmm. Retirement looks different with that in mind.

I’m in the season of Grandmother.  My natal Pluto is in Leo. I will have to live into extreme old age to live long enough to see Pluto enter Pisces.

Advice? Enjoy your life. Enjoy and love your family. Always plan ahead. (Capricorn Sun speaking).
