Monday night, the Scorpio Sun perfects its trine to retro Neptune in Pisces, and the drive to embody the dream peaks. Whether the pressure to live up to the shine is finally off or you take the initiative to accept a download of faith, the effects will be personal.
Monday’s Cancer Moon opposes Capricorn Venus and trines Saturn in Pisces, so the mood paves the way for the realistic weighing of options and an investment in values that promises lasting benefits. What we need and what we desire can be balanced through the application of honorable charity. As Sagittarius Mercury actively trines retro Chiron in Aries through Tuesday morning, discernment and choice are on fire, making use of galloping insight and hard-won training.
On Tuesday, the Cancer Moon squares retro Chiron and sextiles retro Uranus in Taurus as Pluto returns to zero Aquarius. Perhaps a twinge of anticipatory sensation — a bit of OOF as the Sun at the end of Scorpio begins an out-of-sign sextile to Pluto? It’s not a bad OOF, exactly, more an opportunity to notice the chunky lurch of the shift as we leave the past in the past and prepare to orient ourselves toward the future.
The Cancer Moon then moves through a grand trine in water, with a trine to retro Neptune in Pisces and a trine to the Sun that perfects in the night. Do you need a renewal of faith? That feeling that everything will work out in the end? While there are no guarantees of specifics, allowing this depth of renewal to wash over us is at once a break with the past and a step into the future: Magic at the 11th hour, feeling the siren call of the ideal path.
Tuesday afternoon, Venus picks up the orb of a sextile to Saturn, and we enter a period when restriction leads to reward. Having a goal for our money and time often means we must save and invest wisely — or at the very least, make judgements of “this over that” so we have the benefit of treats that will last. Romance is heightened by taking time to draw out the pleasure, so look for the chance to build over time. We don’t have to restrict pleasure, but we may need to set ourselves a schedule to achieve it. Give love over time as that’s an investment too.
On Wednesday, the Moon finishes in Cancer and moves to Sun-ruled Leo to oppose Pluto and conjoin Mars. The mood is generous and warm, but that Pluto opposition might draw some fire. The urge to move, do, and respond is intense, but it’s also likely we’ll have something unexpected to respond to. Keep in mind that when we have a feeling, we look around for something to hang it on. Remember the impulse for generosity and the need to feel good about oneself. Helping is a great fix for any angst that may strike. Be a hero!
Thursday morning, the Leo Moon passes opposite the midpoint of the Venus-Saturn sextile: an emotional yod. With the Sun at the end of Scorpio, feel inside yourself; is there something you’ve been putting off, something you could accomplish with a puff of “I can do it!”? By afternoon, the Sun moves to fiery Sagittarius to perfect a sextile to Pluto. It’s a huge bump of confidence and a fire under your butt. Like Pumba said: You’ve got to put your behind in the past. So hakuna hatata yourself into a bit of joy as the Leo Moon sextiles retro Jupiter in Gemini.
By nighttime, the Leo Moon trines retro Chiron then Mercury for a loose but fiery grand trine. It looks, sounds, and smells like a good time, but don’t waste it. Learn something, teach someone, talk talk talk till you figure out what you need to know. Listen if you can stand it; that will help a lot too.
Early Friday, Venus perfects its sextile to Saturn, so do your stocking up or investing beforehand. Venus-Saturn can be a long overdue payout, but most often it’s a chance to load the bases for later. The Leo Moon squares retro Uranus, so who can tell? Expect a bit of nervy jitters, but sometimes that’s just what we need to get going.
Friday afternoon takes the Moon into Mercury-ruled Virgo and a square to the Sagittarius Sun. Mercury heads toward square with retro Neptune, so both the mood and the attitude are wild cards. It’s possible to make a plan and wing it at the same time, and that’s just what I’d do. Be prepared but also ready to roll with the waves (or flames).
As Pluto leaves Capricorn for good, what foundational fears do you leave behind? Also, have you met my friend Use Astrology to Navigate the Holiday Season? Just kidding, that’s some marketing right there.
Hiya! Is opening line about Scorpio moon a typo?
Thanks!
Crap… it was the sun, sorry!!!
Ha! I ran over here to correct it… I figured I had. I think I have a fever! Exciting.
Apt Satori, thank you.
The foundational fear of fear itself, a family legacy really, is laid to rest. It’s the rock that is dropped. It is so valued by my family (i.e. it permeates all of their actions) and it’s been strangling me.
Without it I can stand upright, yes a little shaky, but with the higher values of faith,. courage and trust, I move forward.
And after all that weight is lifted, initially there’s a feeling of weakness, but like building muscle, after some time to recuperate and rest, the gains are felt.
When Pluto went into Capricorn my life came crashing down, i became penny-less. To offset the fear, I started going forest shopping, everyday bringing home a leaf, a twig, a flower, etc (in a spirit of abundance). Across the abominable years that followed (my Saturn is in Capricorn, 4th House, at 22 degrees.. the most hammered back and forth, back and forth, across those monumental years..), i kept those little treasures in a silk bag, a reminder of the initial battle. Tomorrow, Tuesday, I intend to create a ritual where I would burn them in a spirit of immense gratitude that I was able to cross the fires of hell and yet somehow made it whole!!🙏🙏🙏
Beautiful! 💟
