Invitation To Send Questions About Astrology & Life!

conversationMercury is conjunct my Mercury Mars in Libra.  Seems a good time to interact!  Got questions? I invite you to send questions on any topic.

Astrology questions, philosophical questions, questions about personal problems, curiosities…whatever you’ve got, that you feel is a curiosity that would fit the blog. I love to challenge myself, but I also want to challenge you. We have many interesting discussions around here, I’d like to get more of this going.

It’s best if you keep your question concise. Just think of it showing up on the blog. You want people to read it and be immediately engaged in this thing you’re passionate or curious about.

I’ll try to answer any and all questions, if I can make them work for the blog. I also may edit what you submit, for clarity. You’ll be anonymous, though you can identify yourself in the comments of your question if you like.  Please use email! [email protected]

Please include your location. City, state, country, whatever. Culture is important. This adds interest to these posts.

  1. I’ve been interested in the idea that one can travel on one’s birthday to get a better Solar Return chart for the coming year.

Do you think this is possible? How many days does one have spend int new location if trying it?

  2. Can astrology determine your food tastes? Do certain planets steer you towards their flavor element–e.g. Mars (hot, fiery) reveal a preference for say, Indian curry?

    1. I have thought of this, same as you. I’m Mars-y and I like hot foods. But then I realized, people have their culture. I don’t know that I’ve ever met anyone, born into a spicy food culture, who does not like spicy food!

While this destroys the theory, it’s still possible a strong Mars might incline a person from the land of bland food, might enjoy spicy food.

A strong Jupiter might incline a person to like foods that are foreign to them, in general.

  3. I would like to know more about quincunxes. They are considered, according to at least popular astrology, to be a ‘minor’ aspect, but in my own chart (which has many) confronting them has been the greatest path of growth for me, much more than oppositions or squares. so much more.

In synastry, they seem to be similar, I have never had a relationship without them, for better or worse. These can’t be random challenges with everything else that goes on in a chart; how do we transcend them? Hoe do we become our best selves through these intrinsic challenges, that may even at times not make us the best of people before we understand?

  4. Hi. Does Mars in the 8 th House ( Leo) make the native a sexual predator per se or are other factors necessary to determine this ? What I mean is does a Stellium in Libra ( in the 10th House ) negate this ?
