Pluto Retrograde: 2024 – Deeply Real: The Power Of Integrity

pluto in a quadrigaPluto will turn retrograde back into into Capricorn on September 1st. I don’t know anyone who is looking for this, however, it’s not all bad.

For example, I can plainly see clients with planets in late degrees of Cardinal signs, taking the opportunity to get that last bit of healing. Here’s an example of what I mean…

I’m writing to a gal with a 29 degree Capricorn moon. She’s had one hell of a time, as you may imagine. But in the process, she’s made contact with her own powerful core.  This is her chance to bat clean-up and come away, deeply wise.

“…It means, you have a Pluto moon transit and when it’s all said and done, I want you to get the most gain possible.  Pluto in Capricorn… deeply mature, deeply committed. I think this is what you want as well.  Not to be blown around in the wind, not to have a glass jaw, etc. Now I’m not describing you! I am describing anti-you.  You have great depth and sensitivity. You also have the intellect, so my goal here will be to bring this forth, more integrated in your consciousness…”

This is her chance to “anchor deep”. If she manages, which she will; it will serve her for the rest of life.  If you think about it, power and integrity are a good and valuable combination.

Saturn in Scorpio: Anchor Deep

Also note that Pluto in Capricorn will play well with Uranus in Taurus and Neptune in Pisces.  We’ve enjoyed this situation for some time and I think it’s helped quite a bit.  In my mind, it makes this doable.  See: Outer Planets Play Nice Into 2027.

Here are your dates:

May 2, 2024: Pluto retrograde @ 2 degrees Aquarius
Sept 1, 2024: Pluto retrograde in Capricorn @ 29 degrees.
October 12, 2024: Pluto direct @ 29 degrees Capricorn
November 19, 2024: Pluto enters Aquarius

These are general remarks about this period, which is bound to deliver significant losses, raw and real.

Pluto Retrograde In Capricorn 2024 – Get Real – Consolidate Losses & Gains

My feeling on this has been stable for years. “Consolidate losses…” We’ll have to see, who and what we have left to work with, come 2025.  I’m talking about death but also the collapse of structures, like bridges?

And what about, shadow (Pluto) government (Capricorn/Saturn)? Destroyed? Or entrenched and fortified for a millennium?  What about a total collapse?

I don’t know, but I’m curious. I had a hard time with Pluto in Capricorn, but I like the affect it’s had on me. The plumber shows up three months late, and I say, “No problem!”  This is because I’m coming from such a deep place, now that I’m intimately aquatinted with the underlayment of everything… of life. I’ve definitely learned, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.”

Who’s ready for Pluto retrograde?

  2. I’m early Cap rising – 9 deg – and you nailed it. If things don’t work out as expected, I say “so be it” and move on. I’ve changed …

Welp I have a dental appointment Tuesday. The schedule above shows it doesn’t move back into Cap until 9/1? So is it still 2 AQ Tuesday just RX? It squares my 3 Scorpio Saturn in late 10. I’m trying to stay in the boat. After 16 years of Pluto transit my 1st opposite a 7 house stellium I too am a different person. It has been pretty dark since 2015. I wondered what the eclipse would bring and my dearest great teacher and friend died after a long illness. His natal Pluto at 3 AQ. His Sun at 2 AQ. We celebrate his life May 4.

  4. I can relate to your earned wisdom on this as well—don’t sweat the small stuff, indeed. Or, “pick your battles.”

I definitely feel I’ve come out the other side better but agree it wasn’t easy. Pluto in Capricorn was basically my 20s and early 30s, railed on my Aries stellium. I experienced the most profound loss of my life and often wonder how the hell I survived it. I relate to this post very much.

    1. Thank you. In some ways I think this is about being profoundly, adult.

It means, you no longer waste everyone’s time (including your own), behaving like a child.

  5. While Pluto was in Capricorn, it squared and opposed my 5 natal cardinal planets, and then went over my late Capricorn ascendant on its way out. No, I am not looking forward to Pluto retrograde; I’ve had enough life changes.

  6. Recently I’ve been thinking that when Pluto is transit in a sign it “intensifies” the ruling planet of that sign, and this intensification occurs through the energy of the sign the ruling planet is traversing.

So with Pluto going back into Cap the intensification is of Saturn in PISCES. This of course could also be said to be the case of the current Pluto in Aqua transit, but with that we’re also looking at Uranus in TAURUS.

I would guess that Saturn relating to Capricorn is more potent due to its singularity, so I would expect Saturn in PISCES to be heavily emphasised and we should check out Saturn’s movements/aspects in the 1st Sept-19th Nov period.

  7. Liked ‘get hold.of your power and posture’ in the newsletter today. It was exactly what I’ll need to do with the last chapter called Pluto in Capricorn (dipping back into my 8th house). It’s my task to take hold of all the weapons directed at me and to work with my slow Mars in Taurus to hasten that long and slow fuse when necessary.

  8. to be honest i do prefer pluto capricorn despite the pandemic / as long as there’s no stellium capricorn tied with pluto capricorn/jupiter capricorn in the “fall” ;_; I noticed that aquarius is more like separation with family, or distance. I’ve been seeing alot of that with even aquarius moons/ suns, not sure about stelliums or other placements. My aunt and uncle are aquarius venus; she’s pisces sun and he’s aquarius sun, but the only distance i see with their close family is their children want to move out despite their huge mansion. I knew this nice lady who was best friends with my mother in law: gemini moon aquarius moon and she had distant relations with even her sisters and brothers. She got cancer and no one even visited her at the hospital. my mother in law was shocked to see such heartlessness. Her best friend were good friends with her and other friends she had. It’s as if she only could maintain closeness with those who were not blood relations. maybe something else in her chart. My nephew when i saw his aquarius moon i got scared. i thought, will my sister and her husband divorce? there’s something about distance and its not good to me. I prefer to be close to those i love and love being with. there are blood relations i dont like to be around with, but sometimes karma has to be tied with aquarius too because of saturn.

during pluto capricorn there was alot of work to be done with our home, and staying home alot. which i like. pluto aquarius so far as shown me the revealment of people’s coldness and cruelty towards homeless people, and mental illness. And mental illness is prevalent too, and that’s usually due to people’s cruelty and callousness from childhood. if brought up in loving and supportive upbringing, the mental illness would not be so prevalent. People have to dissassociate themselves from reality to survive, because the reality can be so cruel and harsh to them. like capricorn, feeling depressed and not good enough, aquarius is like that, they never feel good enough and feel like crap but they are proud and pretend they are doing fine and fakeness all around. (like air trying to be fake, refer to libra’s superficiality and pretending all is fine but when it’s really not) keeping up appearances perhaps. Perhaps its like leo their opposition, so proud, when honestly it’s better to be humble and not pretend and be real about all the harshness of reality and its ok to ask for help. because we all need help and eachother.

    1. i mean she was gemini sun/aquarius moon. Plus i think that aquarius doesn’t really see that they are proud, or need help. maybe due to the detachment and not really understanding. ( same with libra and gemini, unless shown because everyone loves to learn and hopefully said with kindness, not nitpickyness so as to not offend. but like saturn ruled, they do age as good as capricorn does. if they are able to learn and love too and appreciate. the fixedness can be difficult but i find cardinal to be also difficult due to the controlling aspect.

      1. also i just had a thought, i dont like that capricorn throws people out if they dont do the job right, they respect those who work hard, and the business is good, but i noticed the influx of homeless after the destroyed businesses, (i mean not every business was corrupt, maybe the businesses just didnt follow the growing times of change such as changing restaurants to delivery options too so they can grow and be successful. the old fashion ways were growing old and we have to keep up with the changing tides. homelessness: it grew double the size since the downfall of businesses, but i think it was just seeing only the business aspect and not the people aspect of their homelessness, which also causes anxiety and stress and therefore mental illness breakdown. I think that pluto aquarius will address this issue and there’s gonna be alot of social reform. I think while capricorn focused more on the higher ladder tier of management and businesses run by corporations, they didnt look to the people where they lost their jobs and families and homes. I think thats why aquarius is gonna step in and say, allright we got all these people without homes, it’s time for some social reformation and form ideas on how to house everyone and build a better life.

      2. This would be my son , a 1-degree aquarian sun. He has a gemini moon. I am a scorpio sun with a sagittarius moon. I am having such a difficult time helping him. His self-esteem is so low, and he is so sad it scares me that I might lose him through these retrograde pluto transits… Back and forth , back and forth.. How much more can he take?

        1. i’m praying for you and your son, opalina.. i hope everything will be fine. Stay with him and always provide support and love, just knowing you’re there is great comfort ^^ maybe some extra stimulation for his mind, like some puzzles he likes ; or good books. he’s got alot of mental energy so if he gets his hands on working with his head, he’ll feel at home.

          1. Thank you Elisa. I try to be supportive . He is 38, a loner who doesn’t want to be alone. He does get bored very easily and this is part of the problem, He overthinks everything! He has a job and comes home and plays video games. His social skills{ like his mother} is lacking. He contacts me if he needs something but will push me away most of the time.

  9. Pluto is now in my 1st house opposing my Leo Moon in 7th house. When Pluto goes back to Capricorn it will trine my Pluto in Virgo in the 8th house. I’ve had chronic illness for years but it’s been really bad the past 18 months. Will transiting Pluto trine my Pluto Virgo mean I can finally heal? I’ve been especially dedicated this past month to healing myself and I’m trying some alternative healing methods to do so since conventional medicine has failed me.

  10. My family fell apart when I was 12, I lost a few years to drugs in my early 20s and have been outside the family for a looong time with a chip on my shoulder and a narrow heart. The recent transits, Pluto back and forth over my Ascendant after squaring my Sun and Uranus/ Jupiter moving through my 4th house resulted in a big interstate meetup with ten cousins and two sisters on 14 April my birthday. It was wonderful. I can love them. I’ve grown up. It took 81 years.

  11. This has been a wrecking ball transit for me (primarily it’s been on my moon, too) – I already have no choice but to see what I can make of what’s left.

I had a life changing injury in 2007 right before all this began, had to quit my job of 11 years, and that sort of set the stage for Pluto in Cap. Indeed, 17 yeas of that time has been recovery and regeneration as a different way to use my body (which has been largely successful, if arduous, I’m happy to say). Way too much has transpired since.

I feel ‘sadder’ but wiser, and I hope the sadness can be transmuted like the physical pain was. Right now I’m not certain, a lot still hurts, mentally and emotionally. I am at the least curious and willing to find out, though, and the experience I’ve gained is very much integrated into my being, to be sure.

Globally, things are certainly mighty tense. I sincerely pray each night we can all find our highest octave and act from that place in the world.

  12. I am ready for Plutos last dip into Cap – I knew that it would be coming and when for a long time. I kept telling people (who are not interested in astrology at all) who wanted to rush forward and buy, invest, sing that contract etc since the beginning of the year to think again and be patient. To look for the loose ends of the period since 2008/9. Amazing how many of them started something round that time and now want to ditch, sell or divorce.

Anyway, I m ready. I find great that the mercury station direct happens a few days before plutos re-entry, I have a good idea of what I need to work on in the short time until Nov. and how.

  13. There is a song that comes to my mind: Tired to wait for the end… I guess this is how I feel about this. I have been waiting for a long time. But the system looks far too resilient. The stock market is at all time highs again. It must me this extremely tense Pluto transit at 29 degrees back and forth. Same for Neptune. These two transpersonal planets are too slow for us humans to handle. I hope we can finally settle on more reliable stable grounds soon.

    1. “These two transpersonal planets are too slow for us humans to handle. ”

Woah! That’s an interesting perspective. It’s a LONG game and we’re only here for a small portion of it.
