The Election, Oppositions, Progressed Charts & Fire Signs!

cigarette boatAs of this evening, the moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Chiron are in Fire signs, This feels greatly relieving to me. Tomorrow should fly by.
Most are waiting for the outcome of the US Presidential election.  If you’re trying to “stay in the boat”, it looks like a cigarette type at this point.  Clearly, it’s best to just ride!
We still have the two oppositions, which have been troublesome, but not drastically so, at least not that I’ve heard of… yet?
I’ve seen plenty of disagreements, bickering and some hateful standoffs, but this is nothing as compared to what Mars Pluto is capable of.
Mercury Uranus can deliver a payload of it’s own. Put these two together; they can add up to “catastrophe”, but it’s just not happening.  Perhaps our fears (Saturn) really will dissipate (Pisces)!
Positive for Mercury Uranus – someone asked for a Personality score, though I’ve not mentioned them for years. That saw me post this: Your Personality Score: Curious & Interesting.
Then someone asked for a personality score on their Progressed chart.  This began to open my eyes: Compelling Evidence Progressed Charts Work.
Eyes open, I realized, progressed charts may be superior to astrocartography. This is huge! Progressed Charts Over Astrocartography For Relocation.
Once I looked at that, I had to look at this, which is interesting and highly persuasive: The Case For Progressed Charts Strengthens (Helper Gargoyle).
All of this tracks to Mercury Uranus, as it came out of nowhere. I can’t believe I am (re)thinking this, after all these years!
What do you make of all this?

  1. When I look at the transits I don’t see much for the election. There is the Venus opposite Jupiter, with Chiron in there. Jupiter and Chiron having a zero degree orb sextile. I think that is pretty obvious as one of the stated single voting issues for many women. I mean, Chiron couldn’t be more obvious!

But then we have Mars just entering Leo. It seems to me pretty obvious who that is. Trine Mercury in Sagittarius. Opposing Pluto on a very tight orb. So this is almost the same configuration. A sextile, trine and opposition. It’s just that Mercury is a little out of orb. And Mercury is due to retrograde before the end of the year. Mercury will be on an 8 degree and separating from Uranus by then so… Will the revolutionary ideas be dropped?

It seems likely that there is some significance for when Pluto goes into Aquarius on the 20th. This will of course be when the impact is felt in the world in relation to the US’s foreign policy.

There is probably someone somewhere on the planet who can look at this and say; “This means such and such is going to win”. But that person is not me.

I wonder if this represents a gendered approach to the subject matter though?

For me personally. Saturn is inconjunct my Sun and I have been doing mega well on the spiritual things. I have been meditating every day and have come off both alcohol and chocolate. Which I was eating casually. But I read my spiritual texts more carefully and realised they discouraged those kinds of things. Perhaps the lesson for me is no matter how weird and bad the rest of the world gets to focus on my own spiritual stuff.

Perhaps as Saturn goes direct that tendency will produce obvious fruit?

I hope to go to the gym Monday evening and be generally lower in stress level for the Monday.

  2. Yeah, I Do feel like firing after Pluto squared my 29th degr Aries Venus cusp 2nd house (Placidus) for so long. I feel like firing by friendliness and meet more new friends.
After that pluto will opposite my moon in 6th house 1th degr Leo. I guess my labour will be with myself then because am 64yrs already.

  3. I am quite concerned and I hope the electorate will make the best decision. Critical thinking is seriously needed. Praying.
