Ah Scorpio, the bad boy of the zodiac. There are countless articles singing the praises of their intensity, loyalty, and legendary sex appeal. Leos have quite the mixed reputation in astrology, and much of it is deserved. Self-absorbed? Check. Attention-seeking? Check. Obnoxious? Arrogant? Imperious? Check, check, check. When the sign expresses itself negatively, that’s usually how it comes out. It takes a lot to love a Leo! But maaaan, what you get in return? Priceless.

With all its self-indulgent Grand Trine pitfalls, my chart does have one saving grace – an opposition between the Moon and Uranus which combines with the Grand Trine to form a Kite. Now, Moon-Uranus connections are hardly comfortable, and oppositions even less so. And that’s what makes it so great!
Oh yes, there’s more to say about Grand Trines. Another big issue is a bit more esoteric and I don’t hear people talking about it much. It’s that Grand Trines are closed systems. They are complete circuits, and nothing gets in or out.
